It’s been a while since I done an outfit post in my blog so I thought I would do that today (as I am not in my gym gear). Today I went to visit my Gran Rundell and I shall tell you about my wonderful day later on in this post.
I wore a white blouse today with black polka dots. It is very figure hugging and thin; I would say it has a rather classy look about it. I think this may have actually been my first time wearing it and I bought it several months ago on eBay at an absolute steal at £3.99! I ordered it from China so I had to wait a month or so for it to be delivered but it was definitely worth the wait.
On my bottom half (please excuse the mess of the room, by the way) I wore plain black leggings. These leggings are excellent quality and I purchased these from the store Forever21 for £4.00. I have worn these on plenty of occasions and they are still going strong. If you are not a lover of wearing black, Forever21 offer a variety of different colours of these leggings, you should check them out. You can never go wrong with a pair of leggings. I love leggings as you can dress them up; you can dress them down. It’s tremendous.
These black wedged boots cost me £5 from everythingfivepounds.com. It was my first time wearing them today and I must admit they are so damn comfortable – a lot more comfortable than many of my other shoes. Some people believe that if you pay a small price for something then it is too good to be true; I guarantee you these shoes are the exact same quality of that in your High Street Bands. They look and feel great. I imagine they are probably out of stock now as I bought them last month and I have no doubts that they sold extremely fast! However keep your eye on their website, some of their stuff is fabulous!
I said earlier that I would tell you about my day, so here goes: I went to visit my Gran Rundell with my Mum and Dad. My brother and his girlfriend came too and they went out at the high street around my Gran’s local shops. I got to spend some quality time with my Gran (doing crosswords) whilst my Mum and Dad did some housework for my Gran. Suddenly, out of the blue, my Uncle Johnny and Auntie Linda popped in to visit my Gran. I hadn’t seen them in absolutely ages and I was so pleased to see them. We had a catch up and were all talking over one another – it was pandemonium. It was lovely all the same; my Gran probably had a headache by the time we all left. I’m sure she was just glad to see all of our faces. I want to write about my Uncle Johnny in particular:
He is such a hard-working, pleasant and entertaining man. Ever since I was just a tot he has been cracking priceless one liner jokes and has always amused me and made me laugh. What I admire most about him though is how down to earth he is. He is just so genuine. I hadn’t seen him in well over a year and even today he still hasn’t changed at all. His nature is one of a kind. I have a lot of respect for my Uncle Johnny – a lot of respect.
I spent the day with some very dear people in my life and I enjoyed every minute of it. They told me I was looking well – which was lovely to hear! We didn’t spend very long together but the time we shared was precious. My Gran appreciated all of the visitors and was just so happy to see us all. (However, my Gran and I didn’t have a game of scrabble like we usually do). Time is really a sacred thing. It’s important that we share it with the correct people. I’m glad I went to visit my Gran today – it’s made me feel really good today.
As always, leave comments, share etc! And I shall leave my details at the moment if you want to keep up to date with what’s going on in my life etc when I’m not blogging!
Until next time,
