21st Birthday: Photo Diary

I have completely and utterly neglected my blog as of late. I’m off to Spain for 2 weeks tomorrow (well, in the early hours of the morning) so I will most likely be neglecting it some more. However, I’ve been celebrating my 21st birthday over the past couple of weeks(!) and I would kick myself if I didn’t share some of my amazing and wonderul moments with you guys. So here’s a very brief photo diary of some of my celebrations over the past 2 weeks… I plan on doing a ‘What I got for my 21st birthday’ post when I return from my holiday. But we’ll see.

Hope you’re all well.

Cherry Soda #2

img_1197-1

Hi chickens!

As I stated in my most recent post, I have quite a bit of catching up to do in regards to blog posts & collaborations and the like. My aim is to get these done as soon as possible so that I’m fully up to date with everything and can start organising myself again and take on new opportunities. I’m also eager to start writing more personal posts again on the blog too as there is so much I need to get off my chest and share with you guys.

Let’s talk a little bit more about Cherry Soda on the blog, shall we?

If you follow me across my social media platforms, you will have undoubtedly heard of the brand ‘Cherry Soda’. I have also mentioned them on the blog before – so if you’re a regular reader then you’ll know I’m somewhat of a brand ambassador for them and openly promote their products on a regular basis.

Whenever I receive mail through the door from Cherry Soda; I’m always excited because I just know I’m going to have some excellent quality jewellery from an independent little boutique – and it makes the items so much more loveable and precious. The girls at Cherry Soda wholeheartedly know what they are doing – and more importantly – know how to win our hearts through jewellery and accessories.

I am indebted to Cherry Soda because they sorted me out with the most exquisite diamanté choker for my 21st birthday party, to match my silver & white theme, and it was everything I had envisaged and more. It was such a sturdy and excellent quality choker too, it didn’t budge all night (and I was extremely drunk & danced the whole night away… impressive)!

The other necklace featured in today’s Cherry Soda collaboration was a layered  style necklace (that I was originally planning on wearing to my 21st until the other choker stole my heart). I love how original this necklace is. I hadn’t seen one like it anywhere else so I am honoured to wear it out and about! Which one is your favourite of the 2, the layered necklace or the choker one?

A personal fav of mine from Cherry Soda are their Joma Jewellery range. Joma Jewellery is a very popular brand which specialize in bracelets with cute & catchy sayings! There is literally something for everyone: from ‘a wee tartan heart’ to ‘a little paw print’ for animal lovers, bracelets addressed to your mum, gran, daughter, sister, you name it! I just think Joma Jewellery bracelets are THE perfect gift! And with it approaching Christmas time, these will make the perfect little stocking fillers! If you want to have a shimmy and see what I’m raving on about then you can click here & browse through them all! Oh, and did I mention you get 20% off using code CHARLENE20 at checkout?

On Friday, I’m filming something fun and festive with the Cherry Soda girls and I can’t wait to share it with you guys! You’ll have to keep an eye on my Instagram stories for some sneak peeks! Anyway, I’m going to head off now as I have a huge to do list as long as my arm to be getting through today! But be sure to browse Cherry Soda’s website and see what new lines have been added lately! 🙂

Until next time!

Squat Magic post #3: Do I recommend it?

squatmagic2Oopsies, late again with this post! It just hasn’t been my week at all guys, my laptop broke and I’ve only just got it fixed, so I thought I’d smash out my final round-up post of the Squat Magic machine from New Image and tell you if I think it’s worth the purchase.

Additionally, I just wanted to let you all know I’m doing a giveaway in collaboration with High Street TV and you guys can win your very own Squat Magic machine for your at-home-workouts by following me on twitter & retweeting the giveaway tweet! So good luck guys – winner will be drawn on the 20th of August! Head on over to my twitter and enter now.

My last post about the Squat Magic featured all of the pros & cons, in my opinion, of the product. If you missed that post you can catch up here. I’m going to keep this post short and sweet for you all as I’ve already told you on my blog what the squat magic product actually is, who made it, my thoughts on it all-round so today I just want to tell you guys if I recommend this product or not… and my answer is:

YES.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

squatmagic1

The squat magic is an excellent invention and I think it’s an absoloutley fabulous tool for people who enjoy their at-home-workouts or don’t feel confident to do squats. It’s a great tool for beginners & even more advanced gym-goers! I think it’s a wonderful piece of gym equipment to have lying around in your home as it totally motivates you to move your ass and get stuff done (quite literally). Getting out of your bed or off the sofa to do squats sounds quite strenuous – but when you have an assisted squat machine there for you it makes it a whole lot easier and daunting!

I’m not going to lie to you guys, I prefer going to the gym and lifting weights and stuff when I’m squatting, but I’ve enjoyed testing the Squat Magic and I will use it in future for my at-home-workouts and to help me continue variating my squats at home! You can pick up your very own Squat Magic from High Street TV’s website HERE for £69.99 (or you can enter my giveaway over on Twitter & cross your fingers and hope you win)!

Would you use an assisted Squat Machine? Have you heard of it before?

Until next time
